World Scholars

The priority application deadline for World Scholars is March 3.

The World Scholars Program offers a unique four-year experience that combines international study with the traditions of a vibrant college campus. Intentionally designed for globally minded students, the program fosters academic excellence, global awareness and personal growth through immersive experiences, a strong sense of community and dedicated support.

World Scholars begin their college journey with a first-semester study abroad at one of UD’s partner institutions—in Athens, Greece; Auckland, New Zealand; Madrid, Spain; Rome, Italy; or Newcastle, England.

To be considered for World Scholars, students must be admitted to one of our 100+ eligible majors. Students can apply to become a World Scholar in My Blue Hen Home. We encourage you to learn more about World Scholars by visiting our website.
