UD’s Flex Pathway offers several associate-to-bachelor’s degrees for students across the state of Delaware. Students enrolled in a Flex Pathway can begin their studies full- or part-time, online or in-person in Wilmington, Dover or Georgetown, and transition to our Newark campus to complete their bachelor’s degree. Students in eligible Flex Pathway programs can even use the SEED Scholarship to cover the cost of their tuition for their associate degree and up to one additional year of their bachelor’s degree. Learn more about our Flex Pathway and apply using UD’s online application.

Accepted for admission. When students are admitted to UD, they can view their next steps on their student portal, My Blue Hen Home (udel.edu/mybluehenhome). The deadline to submit a deposit to UD is May 1.
Conditionally accepted to the engineering-undeclared major with the requirement to complete additional coursework before their first semester at UD.
A postponed decision based on mid-year academic performance. Students who receive these letters are asked to upload mid-year grades to their portal, supplying us with more information to make a decision. Deferred students will receive a final decision by mid-April.
Students who have met admissions requirements but are not accepted yet due to space limitations will receive an email encouraging them to respond on the waitlist interest form. Only students who reply to the waitlist form will be considered in the event that space becomes available. If a student opts into the waitlist, they can expect to hear no later than early June whether they are ultimately offered a spot at UD.
Not admitted. If there is any new information to support a student’s admission, they can request an appeal by emailing their UD counselor.
